Corelli's importance for the development of the modern tonal system is very well known.
Smarano Academy 2012 represents the second step toward Corelli's anniversary in 2013, and it is focused on  the complex iter from Modes to Keys from the late-Renaissance to the early 18th Century: among the themes, we will analyze the Canzona, the 17th Century “Recitar Cantando” with particular attention to the early continuo praxis, and the development of the “Instrumental Trio, with its influences on the Organ repertoire between 17th and 18th Century including Johann Sebastian Bach.

Practice: minimum 30 hours  per person are granted with organ, harpsichord and clavichord according to a hourly individual schedule issued at  beginning of Academy.
Individual coaching :may be obtained  from Teachers as complimentary.
